Benecke-Kaliko AG, part of the ContiTech Group, is a developer and manufacturer of technical and decorative surface materials as well as slush skins made of plastic. The company's core competencies encompass automotive interior trim and furniture coverings with creative surface designs.

The company produces at nine locations. With its workforce of 1,726, Benecke-Kaliko posted sales of €317.2 million in 2006. ContiTech AG, Hanover, is the world’s largest specialist for rubber and plastics technology in the non-tire rubber sector.

The company develops and produces functional parts, components and systems for the automotive industry and other important industries. With a workforce of around 22,000, it posted sales of more than €2.8 billion in 2006.

ContiTech is a division of Continental AG, a leading automotive supplier of brake systems, chassis components, vehicle electronics, tires, and technical elastomers. In 2006 the corporation realized sales of €14.9 billion. At present it has a worldwide workforce of around 89,000.
